We are looking for a seasoned Project Controls Manager to join our dynamic team at O'Hara Search Group. This full-time permanent position will involve overseeing financial management, project planning, and scheduling for a variety of projects within the mining and infrastructure domains. This role presents a unique opportunity to engage in impactful projects while promoting diversity and inclusion within our workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Offer expert guidance, training, and assistance in cost management, project planning, and scheduling across multiple initiatives.
  • Evaluate and enhance technical standards, guidelines, and procedures to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Collaborate with management and clients to fulfill specific project control requirements, including establishing project timelines, financial management systems, and reporting structures.
  • Develop and uphold project control protocols, tools, and systems for performance measurement, financial forecasting, and schedule oversight.
  • Assist in business growth by contributing to proposals and client presentations.
  • Conduct quality audits of project controls and design training programs for ongoing enhancement.
  • Work closely with various teams to generate project financial and scheduling reports, manage budgets, and oversee project modifications.

Qualifications:

10 to 15 years of experience in Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management (EPCM) projects, with a strong emphasis on financial oversight, project planning, and scheduling. A degree in a relevant field is required, along with advanced skills in Primavera P6, Microsoft Office Suite, and Visio. A comprehensive understanding of project control methodologies, including budget formulation, financial oversight, scheduling, and progress documentation is essential. Proven experience across all phases of project lifecycles, with the capability to work autonomously and manage tasks with minimal oversight. Strong communication skills are necessary, with a track record of delivering precise and high-quality outcomes.
