Internal Title: Project Controls IV
Responsibilities include:
- Leading a team of Cost, Schedule, Estimating, Risk, and other Project Controls professionals on medium-risk, large-scale projects.
- Implementing and maintaining effective project controls processes from project inception to completion.
- Establishing and managing both short-term and long-term project controls service goals and success criteria.
- Participating in budget development and operational planning for project controls services.
- Overseeing the human and material resources necessary for successful project controls delivery.
- Contributing to the management of the project controls team in alignment with project plans.
- Facilitating effective communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders.
- Monitoring project controls performance and ensuring adherence to established plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Identifying risks and implementing strategies for mitigation and contingency planning.
- Delivering comprehensive progress reports, proposals, and presentations to diverse audiences.
- Ensuring compliance with quality standards throughout all project stages.
- Fostering a positive and high-performing team culture focused on continuous improvement.
- Managing staff performance objectives to achieve excellence in project outcomes.
- Filling in any project controls roles as necessary.
This position is office-based and requires a minimum of 12 years of experience in Project Controls, with at least 5 years in a senior management role. A Bachelor's degree in Program, Project, or Commercial Management or a related field is essential.
Licenses or Certifications:
Possession of recognized certification from professional institutions such as the Project Management Institute (PMI) or the American Association of Cost Engineers (AACE) is preferred. Proficiency in Scheduling Software (e.g., P6), Cost Software (e.g., Ecosys), Estimating Software, and Risk Software is required, along with advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
