We are currently in search of a Director of HR Operations, Retail - BC to lead our initiatives.
Oversee HR Operations functions within the (Region) Retail business sector to bolster overall personnel, culture, and business performance.
Foster retail leadership's comprehension and accountability in establishing and sustaining a positive workplace atmosphere.
Assist in the culture and engagement planning process between Operations Leadership, Store Management, and frontline employees.
Collaborate with retail leaders to manage direct relationships between management and employees in all non-union settings.

Supervise a team of HR Business Partners to promote fair, equitable, and consistent decision-making in employee relations issues.

Ensure the uniform application of HR tools, systems, processes, policies, and procedures in retail.
Maintain high levels of communication between management and employees.

Direct the annual development and implementation of a retail leadership development strategy to support succession planning and maintain a robust talent pipeline to meet our operational needs.

Provide expert guidance to direct reports and Operations Management regarding collective agreement administration, employment law, labor law, human rights issues, and any other matters requiring conflict resolution.

Manage the annual IHM audit process alongside the HR team and OH&S Center of Excellence.

Monitor engagement, employee, and labor relations matters, ensuring that management activities align with the Company's policies and operational culture.

Build a high-performing team of HR professionals who address the diverse and evolving needs of our retail business.

Develop a succession plan for HR professionals and ensure individual development plans are actively pursued to prepare future talent.

Serve as a strong advocate within Operations for Human Resources needs and employee considerations.
Mitigate business risks through effective application of legislation and Jace Holdings Ltd.'s policies.
An Undergraduate Degree with a minimum of ten years of relevant experience is required.
~ Experience as an HR Generalist for a multi-location employee base
~ Work experience in both Union and non-union retail operations environments
