About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Sous Chef to join our culinary team at Mount Pleasant Vintage & Provisions. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for leading our culinary team and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management: Supervise and lead a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
  • Culinary Innovation: Develop and implement new recipes, menus, and cooking techniques to enhance our culinary offerings.
  • Food Preparation and Presentation: Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events and daily service.
  • Inventory Management: Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
