About the Role
EightSix Network is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Sous Chef to join our culinary team. As a key member of our kitchen brigade, you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of culinary excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Report directly to the Head Chef and contribute to the overall success of the kitchen.
- Assist in daily ordering and inventory management for all food and non-food related vendors.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve food preparation, presentation, and menu offerings.
- Perform other reasonable duties as required by the Head Chef.
- Attend regular meetings with the sous chef and management team.
- Be flexible with working hours and willing to work weekends and holidays.
- Oversee staff meal preparation and ensure a positive and productive work environment.
- Lead and motivate kitchen colleagues to achieve exceptional results.
- Ensure all kitchen colleagues are aware of standards and expectations.
- Maintain proper hygiene and sanitation practices.
- Contribute to leadership roles in food production and quality control.
Requirements
- Food Safe Level 2 certification.
- Valid work permit.
