About the Role

EightSix Network is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Sous Chef to join our culinary team. As a key member of our kitchen brigade, you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of culinary excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Report directly to the Head Chef and contribute to the overall success of the kitchen.
  • Assist in daily ordering and inventory management for all food and non-food related vendors.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve food preparation, presentation, and menu offerings.
  • Perform other reasonable duties as required by the Head Chef.
  • Attend regular meetings with the sous chef and management team.
  • Be flexible with working hours and willing to work weekends and holidays.
  • Oversee staff meal preparation and ensure a positive and productive work environment.
  • Lead and motivate kitchen colleagues to achieve exceptional results.
  • Ensure all kitchen colleagues are aware of standards and expectations.
  • Maintain proper hygiene and sanitation practices.
  • Contribute to leadership roles in food production and quality control.

Requirements

  • Food Safe Level 2 certification.
  • Valid work permit.
