About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Sous Chef to join our team at Sempre Uno. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of our menu items, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution
    • Develop and implement new menu items and specials
    • Ensure that all menu items are prepared and presented to the highest standards
  • Team Management
    • Supervise and train a team of cooks and kitchen staff
    • Ensure that all team members are working efficiently and effectively
  • Inventory Management
    • Manage inventory levels and ensure that all ingredients are ordered and received in a timely manner
    • Monitor and control food costs
  • Quality Control
    • Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards
    • Monitor and address any quality control issues
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • 5+ years of experience as a sous chef or in a similar role
    • Cook Trade Certification or equivalent
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent culinary skills and knowledge
    • Strong leadership and management skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
