About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Mortgage Administrator to join our dynamic team at Atrium Mortgage Investment Corporation. As a key member of our Mortgage Servicing team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient servicing of our diverse portfolio of single-family mortgages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Post-Funding Activities: Spearhead all post-funding activities, including account administration, renewals, and discharges, to ensure seamless operations and client satisfaction.
  • Client and Broker Support: Proactively address client and broker requests for crucial documents, such as information statements, payout statements, and discharge documents.
  • Departmental Reporting: Contribute to monthly departmental reporting efforts, providing valuable insights and contributing to the team's success.
  • Mortgage Record Setup and Maintenance: Establish the initial setup and maintenance of mortgage records and craft precise payment schedules for clients, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Collateral Loan Management: Safeguard collateral loans against potential risks, meticulously ensuring compliance with lender standards and conducting annual insurance policy renewals.
  • Loan Renewals: Leverage mortgage software to efficiently process loan renewals, ensuring all renewal documents are received and aligned with regulatory compliance.
  • Annual Statements and Audit Confirmations: Prepare detailed annual statements and audit confirmations.
  • Legal Document Review: Thoroughly review legal documents for loan closings, ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Property Tax Management: Ensure property taxes on mortgaged loans remain up-to-date, mitigating risks and maintaining compliance.
  • Workload Management: Manage workload effectively to meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
  • Industry Knowledge: Maintain an in-depth understanding of the company's funding procedures, legal guidelines, and available resources, staying ahead of industry developments and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Education: Completion of a University degree, preferably in Finance or Business Administration.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of mortgage servicing or other relevant experience.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, effective presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills, and a proven ability to multitask, prioritize competing demands, and solve complex problems.
