About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Mortgage Administrator to join our team at CB Canada. As a Mortgage Administrator, you will play a critical role in the preparation and processing of commercial mortgage documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Document Preparation: Prepare and process commercial mortgage documentation, including loan applications, credit reports, and appraisal reports.
  • Review and Verification: Review documents for accuracy and completeness, and verify information to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with internal teams, including underwriting and loan servicing, to ensure adherence to residential mortgage policies and procedures.
  • Customer Service: Address telephone and email inquiries from customers, providing timely and accurate responses to their questions and concerns.
  • Ad Hoc Duties: Perform other ad hoc duties as required to support the mortgage administration team.

Requirements:

  • Strong Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders and communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Commercial Mortgage Experience: Prior experience in commercial mortgages is essential, with a good understanding of mortgage business, required documentation, credit, and lending.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word, with the ability to analyze financial statements as part of the appraisal process.
  • Language Skills: Bilingual French / English is an asset.
  • Work Environment: Capable of working in a hybrid office environment a few days per week.
