Job Overview

We are in search of a skilled ServiceNow Development Lead to enhance our capabilities. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, and personalizing the ServiceNow platform to meet organizational needs while guiding both the team and stakeholders. We value a leader who is passionate about delivering exceptional software solutions and can serve as a Subject Matter Expert across the platform. The ideal candidate should demonstrate both independent and collaborative working skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the administration, configuration, and development of ServiceNow ITSM Modules
  • Execute ServiceNow scripting, design tasks, technical configuration, and deployment; particularly, the ability to develop on the ServiceNow platform including the creation and/or customization of core applications such as Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Catalog
  • Proficient in Javascript and HTML / HTML 5
  • Knowledgeable in CMDB, Discovery, and SAM Pro
  • Familiar with IntegrationHub and OAuth
  • Experience with custom and scoped applications
  • Capable of writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code
  • Able to produce comprehensive documentation
  • Proficient in unit testing of your own work
  • Mentor junior team members effectively
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence

Additional Skills Preferred

  • Familiarity with software development methodologies such as Agile
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities
  • Capacity to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Bachelor's degree in mathematics, engineering, information systems, or a related discipline
  • Presentation skills to showcase your work to stakeholders
  • Experience in the P&C insurance sector
  • Solid to advanced understanding of the business, technical environment, standards, processes, procedures, programming languages, and operating systems

Salary range: $77,700 - $157,000

Actual salary for the role may vary based on the successful candidate's work location and other factors including but not limited to skills, education, experience, working conditions, and the local labor market. In addition to base pay, eligible employees may participate in various incentive plans, which are paid out at the discretion of the company and subject to individual and company performance.
