Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled ServiceNow Development Lead to take charge of our ServiceNow initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, and enhancing the ServiceNow platform to meet the specific needs of the business while guiding both the technical team and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in delivering high-quality software solutions and will serve as a Subject Matter Expert across the ServiceNow ecosystem. You should be capable of working independently as well as collaboratively with others.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the administration, configuration, and development of ServiceNow ITSM Modules
  • Execute ServiceNow scripting, design, technical configuration, and deployment, including the development and customization of core applications such as Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Catalog
  • Proficient in Javascript and HTML / HTML 5
  • Knowledgeable in CMDB, Discovery, and SAM Pro
  • Familiar with IntegrationHub and OAuth
  • Experience with custom and scoped applications
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
  • Produce comprehensive documentation
  • Conduct unit testing for your own work
  • Mentor junior team members
  • Utilize Jira and Confluence for project management

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with software development methodologies, particularly Agile
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Bachelor's degree in mathematics, engineering, information systems, or a related discipline
  • Presentation skills to effectively demonstrate your work to stakeholders
  • Experience in the Property and Casualty insurance sector
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the business, technical environment, standards, processes, procedures, programming languages, and operating systems

Compensation and Benefits

Salary range: $77,700 - $157,000
