About the Role

Aramark is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Support Services Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the food and facilities contract at a healthcare facility in Kamloops, BC.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the food and facilities contract, ensuring compliance with Aramark standards, regulatory agencies, and client requirements.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with other departments to provide a unified food service experience.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
  • Interact with client management and maintain effective client and customer relations.
  • Identify opportunities for service expansion and growth.
  • Provide overall direction and manage performance for supervisors and front-line employees.
  • Direct, staff, and train food service department regarding food presentation, quality, cost control, and cash handling.
  • Responsible for ordering, inventory, menu development, production planning, and employee scheduling.
  • Monitor and verify accounting documentation through web-based systems.
  • Follow union seniority/scheduling standards and policies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in a relevant field.
  • Basic housekeeping experience or full EVS experience is an asset.
  • Menu management, budget balancing, and working within operational costs.
  • Minimum 5+ years of progressive experience managing operations with financial and operational responsibility.
  • Computer savvy with Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • P&L accountability and/or contract-managed service experience is desirable.
  • Management and leadership skills, with the ability to work with confidential information.
