Aramark Canada is seeking a Facilities Support Services Leader with a robust background in Food Services, Housekeeping, Laundry, and Maintenance Services. This role is pivotal in managing operations within a Healthcare Facility.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Facilities Support Services Leader will oversee the food and facilities contract at the designated site, ensuring financial accountability and adherence to established standards. Key responsibilities include:
- Fostering effective collaborations with various departments to deliver a cohesive food service experience for residents, visitors, and staff.
- Ensuring compliance with food safety, sanitation, and overall workplace safety regulations.
- Engaging with Client Management to maintain strong client and customer relations, while identifying opportunities for service expansion.
- Providing leadership and performance management for Supervisors and front-line staff, promoting employee development and compliance with HR policies.
- Directing and training the food service team on food presentation, quality control, and financial management.
- Developing operational forecasts and explaining variances, while managing accounting functions.
- Overseeing ordering, inventory management, menu development, and production planning.
- Monitoring employee work schedules through payroll tracking systems.
- Assisting the Food Service Supervisor with ordering, inventory, and menu planning.
- Verifying accounting documentation through digital systems.
- Adhering to Union scheduling standards and financial projections.
- Building and maintaining a strong leadership team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in a relevant field.
- Membership in CSNM is required.
- Experience in basic housekeeping or full Environmental Services is an asset.
- Proficiency in menu management, budget balancing, and operational cost management.
- A minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience in managing operations with financial and operational responsibilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with clients, customers, and support staff.
- Experience with P&L accountability and/or contract-managed services is desirable.
- Demonstrated management and leadership skills, with the ability to handle confidential information.
- Completion of a mandatory background check is required for all qualified candidates.
Education
Bachelor's degree preferred.
