Key Responsibilities- HR Department Coordination: Coordinate the activities of the HR department to ensure they meet the organization's objectives.
- Administrative Support: Open and distribute mail and other materials, and provide general administrative support to the HR team.
- Policies and Procedures: Establish and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with organizational standards.
- Communication: Answer telephone calls and relay messages, and respond to electronic inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Liaison: Liaise with management, union officials, and HR consultants to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Payroll Administration: Oversee payroll administration, including data entry and record-keeping.
- Information Management: Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems to ensure accurate and efficient record-keeping.
- Correspondence: Type and proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents to ensure accuracy and professionalism.
- Data Entry: Perform data entry tasks to maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
- Staffing: Recruit and hire workers, and carry out related staffing actions to ensure a skilled and diverse workforce.
- Work Environment: Evaluate work environments, programs, and procedures to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to prevent injuries and illnesses.
- Education: A degree in Business Administration or a related field is required.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Language: Fluency in English is required.
- Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
