Human Resources Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Coordinator to join our team at Petro Canada Truck Stop. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, developing, and implementing human resources policies and programs that support the growth and development of our employees.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement human resources policies and programs that align with the company's strategic objectives.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on human resources-related matters, including benefit programs, collective agreements, and employment equity.
- Research and prepare occupational classifications, job descriptions, and salary scales to ensure fairness and equity in the workplace.
- Administer benefit programs, including employee benefits, health and safety practices, and training and development initiatives.
- Co-ordinate employee performance and appraisal programs to support employee growth and development.
- Manage training and development strategies to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Research and recommend changes to employee benefits and health and safety practices to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Supervise and train staff to ensure effective delivery of human resources services.
- Negotiate collective agreements on behalf of the company.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in human resources, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and provide guidance and support to managers and employees.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and human resources software.
- Fast-paced environment.
- Permanent full-time position.
- 32 hours per week.
- English language required.
