We are looking for a skilled and passionate Bilingual Senior Communications Manager for CEO to become a vital part of our team.

About Us: Kids Help Phone stands as Canada’s sole free, 24/7 service providing professional counseling, information, referrals, and texting support for youth in both English and French. For nearly 35 years, we have adapted to meet the evolving needs of young people, delivering life-changing support millions of times annually.

Your Role: In the capacity of Bilingual Senior Communications Manager for CEO, you will serve as the voice of our CEO, developing and disseminating compelling messages that resonate with employees, stakeholders, and the public. You will collaborate closely with the Chief of Staff, Executive Director of Strategic Communications, and the President & CEO to elevate Kids Help Phone's leadership in e-mental health.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Internal Communications:
    • Formulate and implement the CEO's communications strategy and plan.
    • Produce and curate content that reflects the CEO's voice for various communication channels.
  2. External Communications:
    • Compose and refine content that aligns with our commitment to Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility (IDEA).
    • Prepare briefing materials to equip the CEO for public engagements.
    • Assist the Board and senior executives with communications as required.
  3. Events & Speaking Engagements:
    • Attend CEO speaking engagements, ensuring all necessary materials are prepared.
    • Collaborate with various departments to maximize the effectiveness of the CEO's engagements.
  4. Media Relations:
    • Enhance the CEO's presence on topics that align with our thought leadership strategy through speaking engagements and published works.
    • Oversee the CEO's social media presence to foster engagement.

  • Strategic thinker with sound judgment and experience in crisis communications.
