About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager, CEO Communications to join our team at Kids Help Phone. As the voice behind our CEO, you will be responsible for crafting and delivering impactful messages that resonate with employees, stakeholders, and the public.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Internal Communications:
  • Develop and execute the CEO's communications strategy and plan.
  • Create and curate content that captures the CEO's voice for town hall meetings, written communications, and other channels.
External Communications:
  • Write and edit content aligned with our commitment to Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility (IDEA).
  • Draft briefing materials to prepare the CEO for engagements.
  • Support the Board and senior executives with communications as needed.
Events & Speaking Engagements:
  • Attend CEO speaking engagements, ensuring all materials are prepared and available.
  • Partner with various departments to maximize the impact of the CEO's engagements.
Media Relations:
  • Elevate the CEO's voice on topics aligned with our thought leadership strategy through speaking engagements and published pieces.
  • Manage the CEO's social media presence to drive engagement.
Requirements
  • Strong executive communications experience, including speech writing.
  • A relationship builder, process maestro, and eloquent storyteller.
  • Strategic thinker with sound judgment and experience in crisis communications.
  • Ability to adapt calmly to change and effectively manage relationships.
  • Bilingual in English and French is an asset but not required.
