The Senior Manager of Corporate Portfolio Management will report directly to the Director of Corporate Portfolio Management and will play a pivotal role within a team of real estate transaction experts. This position is responsible for addressing the national real estate requirements of the Rogers group of companies.
In this role, you will manage a diverse portfolio that includes office, industrial, and broadcasting facilities. Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing transactions for a mixed-use portfolio of leased and owned properties.
- Conducting market research to analyze conditions, rental rates, and competitive offerings.
- Collaborating with cross-functional Corporate Real Estate teams to establish priorities and resolve site-related issues.
- Preparing comprehensive business cases that include financial analyses and recommendations for senior leadership.
- Executing real estate due diligence for corporate acquisition targets and managing the integration process.
- Maintaining and managing the portfolio management database, providing regular and tailored reports.
- Reviewing lease agreements and coordinating with internal and external legal advisors.
- Recruiting and managing the performance of external consultants such as appraisers and surveyors.
- Supervising service delivery partners in accordance with established governance frameworks.
Qualifications:
- A University Degree or College Diploma.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in negotiating multi-market office and industrial real estate transactions.
- Strong ability to critically assess and draft transactional documents and clauses.
- Familiarity with real estate portfolio metrics and optimization strategies.
- Experience in real estate financial analysis.
- Demonstrated judgment and decision-making capabilities.
- Exceptional organizational skills.
- A results-driven leadership approach.
- Expertise in negotiations, analytics, process management, and service delivery.
- Ability to collaborate across various business lines and with other Corporate Real Estate stakeholders.
- Outstanding relationship management skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French is an asset.
