Position Overview: The Head of Hospitality Services will oversee the seamless operation of our banquet services, ensuring that every event is executed with precision and flair. This role requires a dynamic leader who can inspire and guide a diverse team while maintaining the highest standards of service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
  • Conduct annual performance evaluations and offer ongoing support to help team members achieve their professional goals.
  • Ensure the Banquet Department operates efficiently on a daily basis, meeting both operational and financial targets.
  • Develop innovative and cost-effective scheduling for the banquet team, optimizing productivity while adhering to budgetary constraints.
  • Uphold and enhance service standards, ensuring compliance with industry best practices.
  • Facilitate comprehensive training programs for new hires, ensuring they are well-equipped to deliver outstanding service.
  • Monitor and manage departmental resources, including equipment and supplies, to maintain operational excellence.
  • Recruit and train new staff, ensuring optimal staffing levels to meet service demands.
  • Establish and enforce performance metrics to drive accountability and excellence within the team.
  • Oversee the flawless execution of all banquet functions, ensuring guest satisfaction at every event.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in Food and Beverage Management, with at least three years in a leadership role within banquet services.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
  • Proficient in addressing and resolving guest service challenges promptly.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard software applications.
  • Fluency in multiple languages is an asset.
