Position Overview: The Head of Home Care Services is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing the strategic direction and operational management of Carefor's home care offerings. This position entails the comprehensive planning, execution, and assessment of various care programs, ensuring high-quality service delivery to clients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the leadership team to formulate strategic plans that align with organizational goals and community needs.
  • Drive quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
  • Conduct research to identify community challenges and develop innovative programs to address these needs.
  • Lead the planning, management, and evaluation of care programs, utilizing data analysis to optimize resource allocation.
  • Supervise program managers and staff, providing mentorship and fostering professional development.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards.
  • Manage financial resources effectively, including budget planning and monitoring.
  • Promote a culture of safety and adherence to health regulations within the organization.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • Proven experience in a leadership role within the healthcare sector.
  • Strong understanding of home care policies and community health services.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage complex relationships and foster collaboration among stakeholders.
  • Bilingualism in French and English is an asset.

Work Environment: This role typically operates in an office setting with some flexibility for remote work. Occasional travel to various locations may be required.
