Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and operational management of the retail space, ensuring a welcoming environment for all patrons.
- Establish and nurture positive relationships with both internal teams and external stakeholders, advocating for the library's interests.
- Collaborate with national organizations to align services and initiatives effectively.
- Manage human and financial resources, ensuring efficient use of the library's budget and contracted services.

Qualifications
- A completed degree in hospitality and tourism management, business administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of five years of relevant experience in retail and food service operations, with at least two years in a managerial capacity.
Knowledge and Skills
- Understanding of the organizational structure and governance of the City of Ottawa's library services.
- Familiarity with relevant legislation, policies, and industry best practices.
- Proficiency in business administration principles and practices.
- Competence in using MS Office 365 Suite.
- Awareness of health and safety regulations and the ability to implement necessary measures to ensure a safe environment.
