Overview:

Are you skilled at engaging with diverse individuals? Great Canadian Entertainment is seeking a Casino Gaming Associate to enhance our vibrant team. Under the guidance of the Gaming Manager, the Gaming Associate will undertake a range of responsibilities that include customer engagement, card distribution, cash management, processing payouts, overseeing games, and maintaining accurate records. This role is essential in fostering a secure and inviting atmosphere for all staff and guests.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet, assist, and serve patrons with professionalism and enthusiasm. Confirm and take charge of inventory, assets, and cash floats as allocated. Manage bingo paper inventory, prepare and distribute floats, assign cards, and assist with session preparations. Operate essential equipment and computerized systems with proficiency. Accurately calculate and input game payouts into the operating systems. Ensure security and control over all areas of the gaming operations, including guest service stations and inventory. Process jackpot payments and related documentation efficiently. Address guest inquiries, sales, card verification, and inventory checks in a courteous and professional manner, adhering to cash handling protocols and company policies. Inspect equipment and terminals prior to game sessions to ensure optimal functionality. Stay informed about scheduling, staffing, session formats, promotions, and special offerings. Maintain an adequate supply of necessary inventory and products for operations. Complete financial deposits, data entry, session documentation, and required reports. Communicate effectively with guests to ensure a positive gaming experience. Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment with colleagues. Adhere to licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and other legal requirements. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

At least 1 year of professional experience as a card dealer, specifically in Black Jack. Minimum of 2 years of cash handling experience in a customer service role. Proficient in using computers and operating cash handling equipment. Ability to obtain a Gaming Worker license successfully. Strong communication skills to exceed guest expectations through effective service. Professional demeanor, excellent interpersonal skills, and a team-oriented mindset. Exceptional verbal, written, and organizational abilities. Dependable and committed to providing outstanding service. Availability to work various shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. SIR certification is required.
