**Job Summary**

Great Canadian Entertainment is seeking a skilled Gaming Attendant/Card Dealer to join our team. As a key member of our casino floor staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing cash handling and inventory, and ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all guests.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide prompt, professional, and positive service to guests, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Verify, confirm, and assume responsibility for inventory, assets, and floats as issued.
  • Reconcile bingo paper inventory, assemble, and issue floats, assign, and issue cards, and complete other duties in preparation for a session.
  • Operate key equipment and computerized operating systems efficiently and effectively.
  • Calculate and enter game payouts into operating systems with accuracy.
  • Secure and control all areas of the bingo cage, including guest service stations, assets, and inventory.
  • Process bingo jackpot payments and supporting documentation.
  • Assist with guest inquiries, sales, card verification, and inventory reconciliation in a pleasant and professional manner, in compliance with cash handling procedures, internal controls, company policies, and procedures.
  • Check equipment, terminals, monitors, etc. prior to commencing a session to ensure adequate functionality.
  • Maintain an adequate cage supply of necessary inventory and products.
  • Complete deposits, data entry, session paperwork, and necessary reports.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with each guest, providing prompt, great service to ensure an enjoyable gaming experience.
  • Maintain good rapport with colleagues, ensuring a professional, productive, and supportive work environment.
  • Comply with licensing laws, health and safety, and other statutory regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or directed.

**Requirements:**

  • Minimum 1 year professional card dealer experience with Black Jack.
  • Minimum 2 years cash handling experience in a guest service position.
  • Working knowledge of computers, ability to operate adding machines, currency counters, and other similar equipment.
  • Ability to successfully obtain a Gaming Worker license.
  • Ability to exceed internal and external guest expectations through timely, effective, and service-oriented communication.
  • Professional attitude and appearance, strong interpersonal skills, and a team player.
  • Must possess excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills.
  • Reliable and dependable with demonstrated commitment to service excellence.
  • Must be available to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and statutory holidays.
  • SIR certification.
