Position Summary

THE ROLE

The Chief Information Technology Officer will spearhead the strategic execution of IT projects, data initiatives, and technological operations at Dexterra. This position emphasizes fostering innovation and refining business processes through effective information systems to bolster decision-making and scalability. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will leverage your technical acumen and leadership capabilities to influence the company's technological framework, enhance resource efficiency, and cultivate innovation. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Strategic execution of IT projects and data initiatives to tackle business challenges and improve existing infrastructure.
  • Collaboration with various business units to assess technology requirements and trends, and formulate enhancement strategies.
  • Implementation of technology projects and partnerships to fulfill business needs.
  • Development and execution of a comprehensive enterprise-wide data strategy and analytics.
  • Leading and nurturing a high-performing IT team while promoting an innovative culture.
  • Assessing and managing IT infrastructure and cybersecurity risks.
  • Communicating IT strategies, policies, and trends to stakeholders and management.
  • Overseeing vendor and partner relationships.
Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, operations research, or business administration (master's degree preferred).
  • 15+ years of experience in software development, data management, and IT leadership.
  • Proficiency in network infrastructure, financial systems, and agile development methodologies.
  • Expertise in enterprise system architecture and digital transformation.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and project management abilities.
  • Comprehensive understanding of technology security and cyber defenses.
  • Capacity to drive change within a diverse organization and manage complex projects.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally as required.
