Manager Information Technology Services

Regular Full Time


Responsibilities:

This position reports to the Chief Information Officer and focuses on IT Services in alignment with the College's strategic direction. In addition to day-to-day management, the IT Manager works closely with other departments and functional areas to identify opportunities to improve processes across the institution.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Management, or similar technology-related discipline.
  • Three to five years of recent experience in IT leadership directly supervising individuals, with a focus on developing talent. Experience in a Unionized educational environment is considered an asset.
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in Service Management & Project Management.
  • Experience implementing cybersecurity standards and controls in an educational context.
  • Experience writing and implementing IT Policy in an educational context.
  • Experience implementing a Privacy Management Plan, knowledge of Privacy Impact Assessment methodology; comprehensive knowledge of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act of British Columbia.
  • An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered in lieu of formal qualifications.

Salary:

The starting annual salary for this Management Group position is $92,139 to $122,852. Management Group employees are eligible for annual salary increases within and above the starting range through demonstrated performance.
