Position: IT Services Manager

Employment Type: Regular Full Time


Key Responsibilities: Reporting directly to the Chief Information Officer, this role emphasizes the management of IT Services in accordance with the College's strategic objectives. The IT Services Manager will collaborate with various departments to identify and implement process improvements across the institution.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Management, or a related technology field.
  • A minimum of three to five years of relevant experience in IT leadership, including direct supervision of staff and a focus on talent development. Experience in a unionized educational setting is advantageous.
  • Proven expertise in Service Management and Project Management.
  • Experience in establishing cybersecurity standards and controls within an educational framework.
  • Proficient in drafting and enforcing IT policies in an educational environment.
  • Knowledge of implementing a Privacy Management Plan, including familiarity with Privacy Impact Assessment methodologies and the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act of British Columbia.
  • An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered in lieu of formal qualifications.

Compensation: The starting annual salary for this Management Group position ranges from $92,139 to $122,852. Employees in the Management Group are eligible for annual salary increases based on demonstrated performance.
