Client Relationship Specialist

We are looking for a dedicated Sales Consultant to enhance our operations at People Corporation.
The Sales Consultant plays a pivotal role in expanding the portfolio of National Enterprise clients within the small to mid-sized market segment. This position focuses on achieving sales objectives, identifying and qualifying leads, and successfully closing new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee and cultivate the overall relationship with a designated group of clients, providing strategic consulting, service delivery, financial oversight, plan design, pricing strategies, trend analysis, renewal negotiations, and benchmarking.
- Formulate and execute strategies aimed at boosting client satisfaction and retention.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, including key decision-makers and administrators.
- Manage client expectations while effectively addressing any concerns or issues that arise.
- Assess the client's group insurance risks and propose suitable plan designs and cost mitigation strategies.
- Create annual client plans to ensure clients receive value-added services aligned with their goals and objectives.
- Initiate new business development through cold calling, lead generation, and networking efforts.
- Accountable for the revenue and profitability of client accounts and projects.
- Identify innovative growth opportunities within the client base through multi-product selling and unique solution generation.
- Actively participate in prospecting and securing new clients from leads generated through competitive bid sites, targeted networking, and referrals.
- Manage client growth expectations from the sales team.
- Engage in ongoing education to maintain a high level of knowledge regarding employee benefit legislation, administrative issues, plan rules, claim management, and client-specific procedures.
- Attend industry conferences and seminars to promote services and stay updated on industry trends.
- Represent People Corporation in the marketplace and act as a successful brand ambassador.
- Maintain expert knowledge of the full range of People Corporation products and services.
- Develop and nurture positive supplier relationships to foster strong partnerships for clients.
- Provide coaching and mentorship to technical, analyst, and service teams.
- Build and sustain strong relationships with colleagues and shared services across the organization.
- At least 5 years of progressive experience in group benefits in a client-facing or consulting role, delivering strategic and innovative solutions to complex benefits challenges.
- Possession of a valid and current LLQP or willingness to obtain it.
- In-depth expertise and understanding of the group benefits industry, including funding arrangements and flexible programs.
- Exceptional analytical and mathematical skills, along with strong strategic planning, communication, and listening abilities.
- Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic environment.
- A positive attitude and a strong team player who collaborates effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- A solution-oriented individual demonstrating excellent problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to meet deadlines and deliver results in a timely manner.
- Proficiency in utilizing multi-channel technology.
- Completion of or the ability to complete the Life License Qualification Program within a specified timeframe after joining.
- Willingness to travel as necessary.
- Possession of a valid Driver's License and access to a vehicle.
- Group Benefits Associate (GBA) or CEBS designation or currently pursuing it.
- Completion of formal sales and presentation training.
- Experience with Challenger Sales and/or Consultative Selling methodologies.
