Insurance Business Development Specialist

We're seeking a skilled Insurance Business Development Specialist to join our team at Westland Insurance. As a key member of our commercial insurance team, you will be responsible for promoting and educating clients on insurance products, taking ownership of client relationships, and helping us grow our presence and profile in the local market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth and increase revenue
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their business needs and provide tailored insurance solutions
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to provide expert advice and guidance to clients
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of insurance products and services
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our client base

Requirements:

  • Insurance broker level 2 license or working towards CAIB/CIP (financial support provided)
  • 3-5 years+ of commercial or personal lines insurance experience
  • Laser-focused, with a track record of achieving sales targets
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
