Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Insurance Business Development Specialist to join our team at Westland Insurance. As a Commercial Insurance Expert, you will be responsible for promoting and educating clients on insurance products, taking ownership of client relationships, and helping us grow our presence and profile in the local community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to promote insurance products and services to clients
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their business needs and provide tailored solutions
  • Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations to clients on insurance coverage and risk management
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement business growth strategies
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to provide expert advice to clients

Requirements

  • Insurance broker level 2 license or working towards CAIB/CIP
  • 3-5 years of commercial or personal lines insurance experience
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building strong client relationships
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
