About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the dynamic team at Alberta Health Services, working in a multi-disciplinary environment that provides evidence-based services to youth with substance use disorder and co-occurring mental illness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate non-clinical elements of programming and provide client care and support
  • Perform tasks that enable day-to-day operations, including light housekeeping, inventory, and ordering
  • Forge supportive relationships with youth to ensure care, supervision, and safety
  • Contribute to a therapeutic environment through interaction with clients
  • Support clients to participate in activities of daily living, recreational and social activities, and educational and employment activities
Requirements
  • Completion of Grade 12
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP)
Preferred Qualifications
  • One year experience providing care to youth in a bed-based care setting
  • One year experience providing care to individuals with addictions
