JOB SUMMARY

The Cultural and Heritage Programs division oversees multi-disciplinary arts centers, heritage and museum facilities, and the provision of arts, heritage, and museum public programming and events. This role is essential in volunteer program development, audience engagement, and exhibit research.

You will be tasked with supervising daily operations in guest services, ensuring adherence to theatre policies and procedures, and fostering outstanding customer service relations. Additionally, your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in cash management and clerical/administrative support.
  • Performing technical duties and providing general supervision and quality service to customers and clients.
  • Monitoring, training, and guiding Customer Service Attendants.
  • Acting as the primary contact for resolving issues with patrons, tenants, maintenance staff, and building security.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Completion of Grade 12 is required, along with a minimum of one year of customer service experience in a cultural environment, both by phone and in person.

CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES

Current Standard First Aid, CPR, and/or AED certificates are necessary, along with AODA Customer Service/IASR Training.

KNOWLEDGE

  • Proficiency with computers and the ability to develop a comprehensive understanding of corporate software applications.
  • Familiarity with health and safety legislation, recognizing potential hazards, and implementing appropriate safety measures in the workplace.
