JOB SUMMARY

The Cultural and Heritage Programs division oversees multi-disciplinary arts centers, heritage and museum facilities, and the execution of arts, heritage, and museum public programming and events. This role is crucial in developing volunteer programs, enhancing audience engagement, and facilitating exhibits and research.

As a supervisor, you will oversee daily operations in guest services, ensuring adherence to theatre policies and procedures while fostering exceptional customer service. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting cash management processes
  • Providing clerical and administrative assistance
  • Performing technical duties
  • Ensuring quality service to customers and clients
  • Monitoring, training, and guiding Customer Service Attendants
  • Acting as the primary contact for resolving issues with patrons, tenants, maintenance staff, and security personnel

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Candidates must have completed Grade 12 and possess a minimum of one year of customer service experience, both over the phone and in person, within a cultural environment.

CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES

Current Standard First Aid, CPR, and/or AED certifications are required, along with AODA Customer Service/IASR Training.

KNOWLEDGE

  • Proficiency with computers and a strong understanding of corporate software applications.
  • Familiarity with health and safety legislation, including knowledge of potential hazards in the workplace and appropriate safety measures.
