About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team at Max Physiotherapy. As a Physiotherapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our physiotherapists and occupational therapists in providing high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Education and Training: Assist in the development and implementation of treatment programs for patients with various injuries or disabilities, under the direction of physiotherapists and/or occupational therapists.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Clean and maintain equipment to ensure optimal functionality and patient safety.
  • Patient Assessment: Take patients' general medical and ophthalmic history to provide accurate and comprehensive care.
  • Work Setting: Work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, supporting our team in private practice and rehabilitation centres.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
