About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team at Max Physiotherapy. As a Physiotherapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our healthcare professionals in providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Healthcare Professionals: Work closely with our physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Assist Physicians in Patient Assessment: Assist our physicians in assessing patients and developing treatment plans.
  • Develop Patient Information Materials: Create informative materials for patients to help them understand their treatment plans and progress.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventories of medications and pharmaceutical products to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Evaluative Tests and Procedures: Administer evaluative tests and procedures to assess patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Clean and maintain equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Supply Ordering: Order supplies and equipment as needed to ensure a smooth operation.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Work Setting: Private practice.
  • Area of Specialization: Physiotherapy.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
