About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team at Max Physiotherapy. As a Physiotherapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our healthcare professionals in providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Healthcare Professionals: Provide administrative support to our physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals in assessing patients, developing treatment plans, and implementing interventions.
  • Develop Patient Materials: Create informative materials for patients, including educational handouts, brochures, and other resources to promote patient understanding and engagement.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventories of medications, pharmaceutical products, and equipment to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform various administrative tasks, including ordering supplies, preparing equipment, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
  • Computer and Technology Skills: Proficient in MS Office and other relevant software applications to support patient care and administrative tasks.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field, with a strong understanding of physiotherapy principles and practices.
  • Language: Fluency in English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with a focus on patient care and teamwork.
