About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team at Max Physiotherapy. As a Physiotherapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our healthcare professionals in providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Healthcare Professionals: Provide administrative support to our physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals in assessing patients, developing treatment plans, and implementing interventions.
  • Assist Physicians in Patient Assessment: Assist physicians in conducting patient assessments, taking medical histories, and performing physical examinations.
  • Develop Patient Information Materials: Create educational materials for patients, including brochures, pamphlets, and other resources, to promote health and wellness.
  • Maintain Inventory of Medications and Supplies: Ensure that medications and supplies are properly stored, labeled, and tracked to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Administer Evaluative Tests and Procedures: Assist in the administration of evaluative tests and procedures, such as range of motion assessments and muscle strength evaluations.
  • Clean and Maintain Equipment: Clean and maintain equipment, including exercise equipment, therapy tables, and other medical devices.
  • Prepare and Maintain Equipment and Supplies: Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies, including setting up treatment areas and restocking supplies.
  • Prepare and Maintain Cleanliness of Collection Areas: Ensure that collection areas, such as waste disposal and recycling, are properly maintained and cleaned.
  • Order Supplies and Equipment: Order supplies and equipment as needed to maintain a well-stocked and efficient work environment.
