About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team at Max Physiotherapy. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will play a vital role in assisting our physiotherapists and occupational therapists in providing high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Treatment: Assist our physiotherapists in assessing patients and developing treatment plans to rehabilitate patients with various injuries or disabilities.
  • Treatment Programs: Carry out treatment programs under the direction of our physiotherapists and/or occupational therapists to ensure patients receive the best possible care.
  • Patient Care: Take patients' general medical and ophthalmic history, and provide exceptional patient care to ensure a positive experience.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory to ensure our clinic runs smoothly and efficiently.
  • Area of Specialization: Work closely with our physiotherapists to provide specialized care in the area of physiotherapy.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a physiotherapy setting is an asset, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Work Setting: Private practice experience is preferred.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Hours of Work: 35 hours per week.
