Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Alumni Engagement Director to join our team at Trinity Western University. As a key member of our University Advancement team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive strategy to engage and involve our global alumni community.

Main Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning– Collaborate with the Vice President of Alumni and Families to create and execute a successful engagement strategy for TWU's global alumni community. Organize a calendar of activities and events to boost alumni engagement. Manage programs and initiatives to enhance alumni involvement.
  • Alumni Engagement – Build and maintain relationships with alumni, encouraging them to support TWU's vision for graduates. Assist in recruiting new students by involving alumni in the process. Provide support for current students to receive financial contributions. Assist in launching graduating students into their careers. Develop strategies for recent graduate engagement.
  • Volunteer Management – Lead the Alumni Ambassador program, overseeing current volunteers and recruiting new ones.
  • Communication Management – Work with the Advancement Marketing and Communications team to implement effective communication strategies for alumni through various channels.
  • Community Engagement Events – Connect with alumni at events and identify opportunities for deeper involvement.
  • TWU Alignment – Gain deep knowledge of TWU's culture, priorities, and strengths.

Reports: Manage additional staff and volunteers.

Reports to: Vice President of Alumni and Families

Qualifications: Post-secondary degree required. Preferably a TWU alumni.

Experience: Minimum 5 years in recruitment, relationship management, sales, or fundraising.
