Alumni Engagement Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Alumni Engagement Manager to join our team at Trinity Western University. As a key member of our University Advancement department, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing a successful relational engagement strategy for our global alumni community.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the Vice President of Alumni and Families to develop and implement a comprehensive engagement strategy that aligns with the University's vision and goals.
- Alumni Engagement: Develop and maintain meaningful relationships with a portfolio of alumni, inviting them to contribute to the University's vision and mission.
- Volunteer Management: Oversee the Alumni Ambassador program, managing an existing team of volunteers and recruiting new Ambassadors.
- Communication Management: Work collaboratively with the Advancement Marketing and Communications team to manage and implement a successful mass communication strategy for alumni.
- Community Engagement Events: Build relationships and connections with alumni at community engagement events, strategically identifying individuals who have the potential to get further involved.
- TWU Alignment: Develop a deep knowledge and understanding of TWU's priorities, needs, culture, community, academic and co-curricular strengths.
- Post-secondary degree required; Trinity Western University alumni preferred.
- 5+ years of directly related experience in recruitment, portfolio or relational management, sales, fundraising, or similar experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with alumni and other stakeholders.
- Strong strategic planning and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Able to work under time, budget, and schedule pressures, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability.
