Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Demand Planning Specialist to join our team at Smart Staff Solutions. As a Demand Planning Specialist, you will play a critical role in optimizing demand forecasting and planning to ensure smooth operations across the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and sales projections.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on demand forecasts and inventory planning.
  • Analyze demand data to identify patterns, trends, and risks that could impact supply chain operations.
  • Manage inventory levels to meet customer demands while minimizing excess stock or shortages.
  • Optimize the use of forecasting tools and software to drive efficiency in planning processes.
  • Continuously monitor market dynamics and customer behavior to adjust forecasts accordingly.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings to provide insights and recommendations for improving supply chain processes.
  • Generate reports and present demand planning insights to senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in demand planning, preferably within the food or CPG industry.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain management principles and demand forecasting techniques.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency with forecasting and planning software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems).
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-growing, evolving company environment.
