About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Holland Motor Hotel. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food and Supply Management
    • Requisition food and kitchen supplies from reputable vendors
    • Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • Team Supervision and Coordination
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
    • Train and develop team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties
  • Customer Service and Relations
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure repeat business and positive word-of-mouth
  • Reporting and Administration
    • Prepare and submit accurate and timely reports on food sales, inventory, and other relevant metrics
    • Maintain accurate records of employee performance, training, and development
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
    • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting
