About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Hollandamer Motor Hotel. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food and beverage services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food and Supply Management
    • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain high-quality standards.
    • Manage inventory levels to minimize waste and optimize stock levels.
  • Team Leadership
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food.
    • Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Ensure that customer feedback is acted upon to improve our services.
  • Reporting and Record-Keeping
    • Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock levels, and other key performance indicators.
    • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Other Responsibilities
    • Establish work schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels.
    • Supervise and check the delivery of food trolleys to ensure timely service.
    • Prepare food order summaries for the chef to ensure accurate ordering.
    Work Environment

This is a fast-paced environment that requires strong organizational and communication skills. You will work under pressure to ensure that our customers receive excellent service.

Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Skills
    • Strong leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
    • Knowledge of food safety and handling procedures.
