Shaw Festival Theatre seeks a dedicated Logistics and Guest Services Coordinator to join our dynamic team

In this multifaceted role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our theatre by managing mail distribution, print services, and providing exceptional guest support.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Distribution Excellence:
    • Sort and distribute incoming mail, interoffice communications, courier packages, and parcels with precision.
    • Deliver postal mail and printed materials throughout the theatre complex efficiently.
    • Coordinate and oversee the printing process from start to finish, including electronic file conversion, document scanning, and enhancement.
    • Download print jobs from various sources, ensuring proper sizing, reproduction, sorting, and finishing.
  • Guest Services Champion:
    • Provide a warm and welcoming reception for visitors, patrons, and company members.
    • Answer telephone inquiries promptly and professionally.
    • Assist with basic telephone troubleshooting, including voicemail, console, and conference calling.
    • Maintain accurate patron information in our constituent database.
    • Operational Support:
      • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all equipment is properly maintained.
      • Run reports as needed to support operational efficiency.
      • Assist with parcel deliveries and lost and found items.

Your Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience in a mailroom, print center, customer service, or reception role.

Your Skills:

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships quickly.
  • Strong self-motivation and a results-oriented approach.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Physical ability to lift 30+ lbs. as needed.
