Position Overview

As a Supply Chain Specialist at Empowerment Technologies Inc., you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our procurement processes. Your expertise will ensure that our organization operates efficiently and effectively in sourcing the necessary resources.

Education Requirements
  • Completion of Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is mandatory.
Asset Languages
  • Proficiency in Mandarin is considered an asset.
Key Responsibilities
  • Procure general and specialized equipment, materials, or business services.
  • Evaluate the needs of the organization to create detailed specifications for required equipment, materials, and supplies.
  • Formulate specifications for the procurement of equipment, materials, and supplies.
  • Negotiate terms and offers with suppliers to secure the best deals.
  • Engage in consultations with suppliers to ensure alignment with organizational needs.
  • Oversee the hiring, training, and supervision of staff involved in procurement activities.
  • Review and assess quotations from various suppliers.
  • Establish and determine contract terms and conditions.
  • Assign contracts to suitable vendors.
  • Set up and manage delivery schedules to ensure timely procurement.
  • Monitor the progress of delivery schedules to ensure compliance.
  • Communicate with clients and suppliers to address and resolve any issues that arise.
  • Plan, organize, and supervise the operational logistics of the organization.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to all stakeholders.
Supervisory Responsibilities
  • Responsible for supervising 1 to 2 staff members.
