About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Sales and Marketing Coordinator to join our team at Kananaskis Nordic Spa. As a key member of our Sales and Marketing team, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue and building lasting relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate group bookings and develop local sales partnerships to drive revenue growth
  • Assist the resort sales team in preparing proposals, contracts, and presentations
  • Provide detailed and accurate communication to all departments about sales and marketing initiatives
  • Monitor and respond to feedback and reviews on various platforms
  • Ensure all marketing materials and communications are consistent with Kananaskis Nordic Spa's brand guidelines
  • Provide administrative support to the Corporate Marketing team
  • Assist with management of social media content and content creation
  • Compile and analyze reports on group, sales, and marketing initiatives
  • Coordinate and execute local event activations, tradeshows, and exhibitions
  • Coordinate and execute local sales initiatives to maximize revenue

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in Sales & Marketing an asset
  • 2 years' experience in a sales and marketing role preferably in the hospitality industry
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills required
  • Intermediate skills with Canva
  • Basic skills in opening and manipulating files in Adobe Creative Cloud environments
  • Experience with content creation for social media an asset
  • Comfortable with technology and adept at learning new systems
  • A passion for mental and physical wellness

Working Conditions

  • Ability to work a variety of shifts including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Standing or sitting for extended periods
  • Ability to communicate by phone, email, and in person
  • Frequent bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling
  • Frequent ascending or descending, stairs and ramps
  • Lifting
  • Working with chemicals
  • Working in noisy environments
  • Willingsness and ability to work outside in all seasons and in all weather conditions as required
  • Ability to perform physically strenuous work

The successful candidate must be authorized to work in Canada
