About the Role

FJV Enterprise Inc is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Administrative Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our veterinary clinic, you will be responsible for coordinating the flow of information, interviewing patients, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the flow of information between staff, patients, and external parties
  • Interview patients to obtain case histories and provide exceptional customer service
  • Manage incoming mail, schedule appointments, and maintain filing systems
  • Process insurance claims, order supplies, and maintain inventory
  • Develop and implement office procedures and routines to ensure efficiency
  • Prepare and format medical reports, correspondence, and spreadsheets for review
  • Initiate and maintain confidential medical files and records
  • Perform data entry and provide administrative support as needed
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a veterinary clinic or medical office setting
  • Fast-paced environment and attention to detail
  • Work Term: Permanent
  • Work Language: English
  • Hours: 40 hours per week
