About the Position:
The ideal candidate will serve as a cross-functional expert, focusing on enhancing operational efficiencies and driving sales for designated vendor lines across various departments. This role involves collaboration with vendors, the Product Management Team, and the Sales team to effectively guide team members with the necessary information, knowledge, and tools to support our vendor partners in the marketplace, improve customer satisfaction, and meet sales objectives. Additionally, this position acts as an escalation point for the team and identifies training needs for representatives managing the assigned lines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a subject matter expert for vendor programs and lifecycle management.
- Comprehend vendor programs and pricing structures.
- Prepare and validate complex quotes and orders for vendors.
- Provide proactive sales support and collaborate with the sales team to uncover new opportunities.
- Develop comprehensive proposals for intricate business requirements.
- Manage vendor relationships at various organizational levels.
- Test existing quoting solutions and lead training sessions for users and management.
- Communicate lead times and delivery expectations based on product availability and manufacturing timelines.
- Handle deal registrations, apply pricing strategies, and create renewal contracts when applicable.
- Identify volume and strategic vendor programs proactively.
- Present the TD SYNNEX value proposition and offerings, developing innovative approaches to enable new business opportunities.
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities to drive additional revenue.
- Anticipate and resolve issues (e.g., supplier orders, quotes) with minimal oversight.
- Manage various tasks assigned by management, including training, scheduling, and reporting.
- Provide vendor-neutral consultative services to inside sales representatives and resellers.
Qualifications:
- 5 to 8 years of relevant professional experience.
- Ability to follow instructions and seek clarification when necessary.
- Proficient in using standard office equipment.
- Strong data entry capabilities.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Demonstrated complex problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities.
- Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
- Clear communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficient in English and other local/regional languages.
- Experience in creating and delivering formal presentations.
