Job Summary

As a Vendor Management Focal with Porter Airlines, you will play a critical role in maintaining accurate vendor records, facilitating smooth vendor onboarding, and ensuring timely invoice reconciliation. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and update vendor profiles to ensure accuracy of vendor cage codes, business names, payment terms, and self-auditing forms.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of vendor contracts and agreements.
  • Review and reconcile vendor invoices against purchase/repair orders and receipts, investigating and resolving any discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Communicate with vendors and internal stakeholders regarding invoice issues and guide new vendors through our onboarding process, including electronic business platform setup.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor inquiries and concerns, monitoring vendor performance and identifying opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications
  • Previous experience in an account management or vendor management role.
  • Post-Secondary education in a relevant field preferred.
  • Previous experience in the aviation industry is an asset.
  • Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.
  • Superior written and verbal communications skills, coupled with highly developed interpersonal skills.
  • Effective analytical and presentation skills.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
