About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our Visitor Services team as a Museum Program Coordinator. In this role, you will play a key part in delivering exceptional visitor experiences and educational programs at the Bank of Canada Museum.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver engaging educational programs for visitors of all ages, both in-person and virtually.
  • Collaborate with the Interpretation and Outreach team to create new learning resources and programs for schools.
  • Provide training and support to the Visitor Services team on best practices for program delivery.
  • Contribute to the evaluation of visitor experiences and provide insights to inform program development.
  • Assist with the daily operation of the Museum, including scheduling and coordinating activities.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field, such as education, public history, or museum studies.
  • Minimum one year of experience coordinating services to the public and two years of relevant programming experience in a museum or public setting.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to adapt to diverse audiences.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Language proficiency in English and French, with a minimum starting level of functional (level 4) in the second official language.
