**Mission Critical Sales Leadership Opportunity**
Stonewood Group Inc. is seeking a seasoned sales leader to drive growth and expansion in the Canadian market. As the Director of Sales - Canada, you will be responsible for leading the sales effort to grow key accounts and identify new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the sales strategy for the Canadian market, including business area strategic planning and direction.
- Develop and execute sales plans to drive growth and expansion in the Canadian market.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including the Federal Government and large private defence contractors.
- Identify, qualify, pursue, and bid large and small new business opportunities.
- Apply full life-cycle business development methodologies and tools to drive sales success.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the Canadian market, including economic and political trends.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive sales growth and expansion.
- Minimum of 10 years combined experience in sales leadership, ideally with experience in the defence industry.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
- Proven track record of driving sales growth and expansion in a complex market.
- Strong business acumen and ability to develop and execute sales strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Experience working with the Canadian government and defence industry.
- Knowledge of procurement approaches used in Canadian government programs.
- Experience using lead tracking systems and CRM databases.
- Business development and capture management experience.
