Position Overview: Ekwa has grown from exceptional service delivery and highly effective marketing. The company is now looking to develop a strong inside sales practice. The business seeks a hands-on Sales Director to coach inside Account Executives and BDRs and help implement/manage Sales tools and CRM infrastructure. This is a ground-floor role and a great opportunity for a highly capable self-starter who will work directly with the founder and CEO of the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, coach, and motivate a team of sales professionals, including Account Executives and Business Development Representatives, to achieve sales targets and objectives
  • Develop and implement sales plans & KPIs to drive revenue growth and expand the customer base
  • Set sales targets and performance metrics for the team and individual team members
  • Identify new business opportunities and markets to pursue
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and product development, to support sales initiatives
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market conditions, and competitors
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to sales team members
Requirements:
  • Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles, with at least ten years of experience
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a sales team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies
  • Proven ability to achieve sales targets and objectives
  • Experience implementing and or effectively using Salesforce CRM
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to develop and interpret sales data and metrics
